We provide a wide range of resuscitation training courses including Resuscitation Council UK accredited courses. we have an academy in Cannock, Staffordshire where we host all our courses - or we can come to you.
Our instructors are all qualified and registered health care professionals and have years of real-life experience in critical and emergency care - that’s why we are able to offer excellent quality education, training and consultancy services. We have the following qualifications within our team:
e-ILS was launched in 2019 and uses the same core curriculum as ILS, which was launched in 2002 and is Resuscitation Council UK’s most attended course. ILS certification is recognised across the UK, the EU and Australia.
e-pILS was launched in 2022 and uses the same core curriculum as pILS, which was launched in 2007. Around 17,000 professionals are trained in PILS every year. It is the ideal course for healthcare staff who need to develop their skills further than Basic Life Support, but do not need to train in Paediatric Advanced Life Support
The Generic Instructor Course trains future Instructors in the principles of adult learning. These skills can then be used to teach fellow healthcare professionals at a number of our courses, including ALS, APLS, EPALS, and HMIMMS

This course is a joint collaboration between Resuscitation Council UK and the Advanced Life Support Group (ALSG). The GIC is not open to applications in the same way our other courses are. Instead, our future Instructors are found when they’re candidates on our courses. Our Course Directors and Faculty identify Candidates who they feel would make excellent Instructors and recommend them as having Instructor potential (IP). Those Candidates then receive an email inviting them to book a place on a GIC course.

The GIC must be taken within four years of the date of the provider course.
This course consists of a day of e-learning followed by two days of face-to-face attendance, which will take place in a Resuscitation Council UK Course Centre.
All of our Course Centres are approved and certified by Resuscitation Council UK and ALSG. Courses are run by dedicated and qualified Instructors, guaranteeing that our courses are uniform and the content remains the same across our Course Centres.
ILSi is a specialist Instructor course that gives Candidates the skills to become an Instructor in Immediate Life Support (ILS) and Paediatric Immediate Life Support (PILS).
These skills can then be used to teach fellow healthcare professionals at ILS and PILS courses.
APLS is a leading emergency paediatric life support course designed to provide the candidate with the knowledge and skills necessary for effective treatment and stabilisation of children with life threatening emergencies; to teach the practical procedures necessary to enable effective management of childhood emergencies.
APLS recertification is a the one day recertification course for those who have successfully completed APLS 4 years ago and wish to rectify.
Entry criteria: medical staff ST4 and above. Senior nurses /AHPs who have successfully completed 2 APLS courses previously.
